You don't think it's in japan. It doesn't look like Japanese dessert. Actually you are half-right, it's in Japan but at 'Hard Rock Cafe'. Recently, many American restaurants open around Tokyo. So, you can enjoy "real" American food if you want. But I think those potion size are much smaller than original.
