It is known as 'conveyor belt sushi' in English. It's a kind of "family-type" sushi restaurant in Japan, it's really fun for kids, and generally very cheap(mostly it's around $1)! If you go to a chain KAITEN-ZUSHI restaurant, there is a small touch panel at each table to make orders whatever you want, and your sushi will be delivered by the conveyor belt. They have a lot of appetizers, noodles, soup, and desserts. Even if you can't eat sushi, you could enjoy to eat something else. Do not return your dish to the conveyor belt after you take it, just put it on your table.
