[MOMO-Castella]

Castella is a popular sponge cake in Japan. Now, a specialty in my home town, Nagasaki, the cake was brought to Japan by Portuguese merchants in the 16th century. 'MOMO' means 'Peach' in Japanese, so people eat this cake on March 3 for celebration of 'Peach Festival'(HINA-MATSURI/GIRL'S DAY). It's supposed to share with your family. Because it is kind of big and sweet, you may not to able to eat all.
