[TANABATA, July 7th]

Tanabata, which is the star festival, celebrates the meeting, just once a year, of two lovers, KENGYU (HIKOBOSHI) and SHOKUJO (ORIHIME), who are separated by the Milky Way on the other days of the year. They were couple, so deeply in love with each other, and neglected their duties. As punishment, they were separated and only allowed to meet on the night of July 7th. They would't be able to meet if it was raining. Will it be sunny the TANABATA night this year? This legend is originally from Chinese star festival. Pieces of bamboo are set up in the garden and adorned with strips of paper of different colors on which are written wishes.

KENGYU (HIKOBOSHI) = Altair

SHOKUJO (ORIHIME)= Vega
